Christmas Card Challenges #43
Sunday, September 25, 2011
Good morning to you. Today's card is for this week's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges which is to use handmade flowers. This challenge was the perfect excuse to use my new PTI die. Isn't that a gorgeous flower? So easy to make and lots of dimension to it.
Well, Christmas is officially exactly 3 months away from today. I love the holiday season and am so excited for it to be here. Thanks so much for your visit. Have a great one!

Christmas Card Challenges #42
Sunday, September 18, 2011
Good morning. It's time for this week's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges, which is a fabulous sketch. Click here to see the sketch and to participate in the challenge yourself and to see what the other designers have for you. Remember, though, that the only real rule to play along is to make a holiday or Christmas card so you're not so stressed out come December.
***Supplies***
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey
Stamps: Sparkle Creations Caroling Josh, PTI
Other: Nesties, PTI buttons
Can you believe Christmas is just over 3 months away? It hardly seems possible that 2011 is 3/4 done. Crazy, I tell you. Anyway, I sure am glad that I have lots of Christmas cards ready to send out come beginning of December.

Christmas Card Challenges #41
Sunday, September 11, 2011
Sorry it's been so quiet around my blog lately. Life is so busy right now and I just haven't been able to keep up with my blog like I'd like. Add I've been sick for more than a week. I did go to the doctor this week and got some meds so I am feeling better but still not 100%.
Anyway, it's time for this week's Christmas Card Challenges. The optional challenge this week, on top of making a Christmas or holiday card, is to go vintage. Now I know lots of people out there do vintage very well. I, however, am not one of those people. I raided my paper stash and came up this pretty paper from the Blitzen Basic Grey collection. What do you think? Vintage enough?
Well you'll want to check out the challenge blog to see what the other designers have for you this week. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. If you know me, then you'll know that I'm super excited because football season is finally here. I've got to wait until tomorrow night for my favorite Broncos to play. I'm hoping they can start the season out with a big win against the Raiders.
One last final thought, as I'm sure so many of us are doing today, my heart goes out to those who suffered because of the terrorist attacks 10 years ago today. I can't believe that 10 years have past. I wish the world could be a peaceful place. Wouldn't that just be wonderful? Blessings to you all.
