Studio J Layout -- My birthday 2011
Wednesday, August 31, 2011
My layout today has pictures from my birthday this year. Devin and the kids surprised me with some decorations and an ice cream cake when I got home from work that day. It was a lovely surprise.

Studio J Layout -- Bathroom Renovation
Wednesday, August 24, 2011
Some of you may remember when I blogged about the process of our master bathroom renovation a couple of summers ago. I felt it was important to scrapbook, although I have to admit is was kind of strange to not have any people on a layout. Devin did such a great job and I still love our marble.
I hope your week is going well. Take good care.

Christmas Card Challenge #38
Sunday, August 21, 2011
My card today is for this week's Christmas Card Challenge. This week, our optional challenge on top of making a Christmas or holiday card is to use glitter.
My paper has some glittered parts and I also made the two strips of glitter at the bottom of the card by taking two pieces of 1/8" scor tape and then sprinkling glitter over top. Such a fun look, don't you think? I also distressed the edges of my patterned paper.
***Supplies***
Patterned paper: My Minds Eye
Other: Scor tape and glitter
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday. Thanks for stopping by.

Studio J Layout -- Chickens in Idaho
Wednesday, August 17, 2011
Today's layout features pictures from the same trip that Devin and the kids took summer of 2006 to his grandparent's house in Idaho. The kids went out with Grandpa to feed the chickens.
I absolutely love the large photo on the left with Christopher standing behind Reynna. I wasn't there but I'm thinking he was a little unsure.
As always, I appreciate your visits. Blessings to all of you.

Blog Hop for Lollipop Crafts
Monday, August 1, 2011
It's time for a CELEBRATION!!! Lollipop Crafts is celebrating their ONE YEAR BLOGAVERSARY and you are sweetly invited to join the fun!
First of all, we are back from summer break with our weekly challenge. The theme this week is CELEBRATION! Create a card/project with a celebration theme (ex. birthday, anniversary, wedding, new baby, graduation, etc) We all have something to celebrate right? It is the first challenge of the month and that means we are sponsored this week by Meljen's Designs. One lucky random challenge player this week will win a fantastic prize. Be sure to link your creations with InLinkz on the LC blog for a chance. Check out the challenge rules too!
Secondly, it wouldn't be a celebration without some FUN! Join in on our Anniversary blog hop! You have until tomorrow (Tuesday at midnight PST) to visit and comment on each DT member's blog. Make sure you visit each of us because their are hidden prizes (the DT doesn't even know who has the prizes). Winners will be announced on Wednesday. List of blog hop sponsors can be found on the Lollipop Crafts blog and the master blog hop order is there too!
If you came here from Denise's blog, you are on the right track. If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, go to Kim's blog. Now onto my card. I made this and several more like it for a gift. In usual Alanna style, this one also gets classified in the 10-minute card category.
***Supplies***
Patterned Paper: Unknown
Stamps: PTI Signature Greetings
Other: MS butterfly punch
Okay then, your next stop is Maria. Thanks so much for your visit and enjoy the hop.
